Chippy works as a Product Designer at Obvious. She is a multi-disciplinary designer and illustrator who received her Bachelor of Design in Lifestyle Accessory Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, and then went on to receive her M.Des in Design for Retail Experience from the National Institute of Design, Bangalore. While pursuing her degrees, she interned at Argentor, Cooey Technologies and Tata Ceramics.

When asked why she chose to become a designer, Chippy said,

It was a well-planned, well-choreographed career plan. Growing up as a child, I was very fascinated by art, but I also knew that I would keep it as a hobby. There were a lot of seniors and friends who had studied at NID; I saw their work and started talking with them. That's when I started having an interest in design. I was sure that I want to go in this, nothing elseā€”so I did not even look at an alternative option. At Obvious, nobody wants to settle for one solution; everybody's very open and supportive about increasing your breadth of solutions by being more imaginative. I get to work on multiple domains, and it helps me learn so much, and i absolutely love that.

Chippy's design skills, vision and precision continue to astound and humble everyone, every step of the way. There's no design problem big or small that she can't solve, no person she can't illustrate, and no awkward spacing or font discrepancy that she can't spot. She's ever-cheery, and pulls from a bag full of jokes and giggles to light up any conversation.
